The latest addition to my “War Toys” series, this piece pays homage to those who fight for progress while others try to undo it in the name of tradition and the false ideas of what is required to be a hero. Utilizing my childhood memories of toys such as the GI Joe Sea Wolf and leveraging the “Barbie can Do It All” slogan, this piece eschews the tired tropes of bravery and masculinity and offers us a warrior for the modern age.
Prints available starting Friday at my shop in the post and linked in my bio.
